The EKC governing body for Karate in England met on 29th October near Wakfield. Representatives from AMA, FEKO and KE attended.
Plans are now in preparation for developing the Governing body even more. The EKC is the largest Karate body in England.
Federations and clubs are welcome to join and be part of the true Governing Body for Karate in England.
The EKF AGM was not quorate. EKF groups stay away in their numbers to voice their discontent of the current leadership. More groups have left the EKF.
WKF have lost the Olympic bid. The EKF membership is in disarray.
A report by the New governing body for Karate the 'English Karate Council, will follow shortly.
Karate has not made the shorlist for the Olympics. The WKF's presentation failed yet again. Perhaps now they will look closer at the reasons why Karate keeps failing under the WKF.
Perhaps the 21.9 rule is the reason, as it goes against the Olympic charter.
