Dear Editor I have found myself in the position of having to say something again. After working a good few years as table officials my wife and I and our friends have found ourselves becoming friendly with the referees (yes I know it sounds odd but there you go). Anyway after being asked if we could help out at one of the referees’ comps, We agreed as we had done last year. We are members of the AMA and the comp is being run by a group that is still part of the EKF and therefore would be in breach of article 21.9. Not wishing to get anyone into trouble we agreed that all AMA officials, competitors and helpers won’t be attending the comp (sorry Phil’s’) Article 21.9 is not only stopping sporting relations it is starting to cost people MONEY and it is costing Squads extra income. Its about time people grew a pair and told this Board that they can’t dictate peoples livelihoods. I reckon 21.9 has cost this comp about £1200. Never mind we will just have to take our money elsewhere I hope everyone in the EKF supports this comp as much as the AMA were going to Thanks for taking the time to read Paul Holmes
